Could this be the end of the Union Jack?
Could this be the end of the Union Jack? Four centuries after the union jack was created, the prospect of a Scottish exit has rapidly focused minds on what it might look like if the country were to depart, taking its blue-and-white cross with it. We have made a selection of ‘British’ adverts, that celebrated the Union Jack and what it meant to be ‘British’. From war propaganda, through to present day (such as the Olympics), the Union Jack has always featured strongly in patriotic advertising campaigns.
